Once, I was known as “Mikel”

There was even a time at a rather distinct place where others knew me simply as “Butler”

Lately, I am called “Chris”, by those who know me: abbreviated from “Christian”, my middle name—and not “Christopher”

There are a fair few who know me as a musician: I once played the saxophone. For my time, I was proficient enough at it. I got paid for it. I was a working, gigging professional. I traveled. At my peak, and at what would become the start of this burgeoning career, I’d been rated among the top 7 solo performers in the state.

There were others who knew me for the music I was writing, and not performing. I studied composition. I’d worked on three films.

And there are those who know me as an illustrator.

I got started on that one long, long ago.

Most recently, I’ve become a storyteller. I wrote a novel. Published 2022 on my birthday—
