All video material of the Volvo World Golf Challenge, the leading corporate event for club golfers. Since its launch in 1988 as the Volvo Masters Amateur, more than one million golfers from all over the world have enjoyed competing in this exciting, friendly, stimulating and hugely prestigious event. National winners are invited to the World Final which is run in conjunction with and alongside one of Volvo's major professional titles, the Volvo Golf Champions. Here, they play for the chance of being crowned Champion of the World.
The European Tour 'Tournament of Champions'. In 2011, Volvo launched an innovative and cutting edge new tournament to kick off the European Tour's season in spectacular style. Entry is restricted to European Tour players who have won an event during the previous year, or who have ten or more European Tour titles to their name. It is therefore a genuine championship for proven winners, golf's elite. The stroke play event is run over four days and the strict qualification process results in a select field of approximately 40 golfers. It is played in pairs with no halfway cut needed. On the Friday of the tournament, the Pros team up with Volvo's customers from the Volvo World Golf Challenge World final, in an Amateur-Pro team competition, live on TV in front of a world audience.
