There’s a chance that Oliver Davis, Jr., might be in trouble because he played the lottery.
“I told my wife I wouldn’t do it anymore,” the Portsmouth man said.
However, it just so happens the ticket he bought, a Super Cash Frenzy ticket from the Virginia Lottery, won the game’s $4 million top prize.
“I broke a promise, but I think she’ll forgive me this time,” he said.
On March 23, he returned to the store where he bought the winning ticket, Dollar Delites at 6550 Hampton Roads Parkway in Suffolk, to receive his prize from the Virginia Lottery. The store received a $10,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
