VIRGIN TERRITORY Premiered On Stage at The Place London in Nov 2016 SEE press reviews http://www.vincentdt.com/press/press-...

With Vincent Dance Theatre’s trademark black humour, VIRGIN TERRITORY takes an uncompromising look at what its like for young people to live in an over-stimulating, over-sexualised, digitally captured world. Four adults and four children negotiate some uncomfortable truths about the culture we live in, where bodies are exposed, identities are faked and our deepest truths remain hidden.

Heartbreaking in its honesty and brave in its intent, VIRGIN TERRITORY is  a hopeful, rallying cry from the ‘astonishingly original’ Vincent Dance Theatre (New York Times) to just let our kids be kids.

The work is being distributed / toured as a participatory digital installation in venues across the UK and abroad from May 2017 onwards. Watch our CALENDAR for details.

This new production is for adult audiences and the young people (14+) in their lives.

‘Charlotte Vincent is one of the most important feminist artists working in Britain today. Contemporary dance fans should beat a path to her door.’ The Observer
