Ummah Masjid and Community Center

The Ummah Society is the largest Muslim charity in Atlantic Canada. Our institution has been operating for 40 years in different sectors. The Ummah Society is rich in human resources, with 40 employees and over 300 active volunteers representing over 30 languages, ethnicities, and backgrounds. The majority of the members and the entire board of directors are immigrants and proud Canadians.

The Ummah Society provides a wide spectrum of services including empowering immigrants and visible minorities, mental health and counseling services, sports through our licensed community center, and religious services through operating the largest Mosque in the Maritimes.
