Nov. 7, 2000 marks a grim anniversary for Texas. It was the last deathless day on Texas roads. Every day since then, at least one person has died. Please watch and share this PSA to remind everyone that 50,000 loved one- parents, spouses, children and friends- have died in a crash in Texas in the last 15 years. #EndTheStreakTX
The West 7th Street Bridge is a collaborative effort between the City of Fort Worth, TxDOT and Sundt Construction. This popular east‐west thoroughfare connects downtown to the Cultural District. The project replaced the aging West 7th Street Bridge with a new signature structure -- the world's first pre‐cast network arch bridge. The bridge, which combines stunning aesthetics with tremendous value, is estimated to cost $25.9 million and was designed by TxDOT. The bridge opened to motorists on October 9, 2013.
