Here you can enjoy music from the Faroe Islands. We are a record label called TUTL Records based in Tórshavn, the capital of Faroe Islands, and have been active for 50 years.  

TUTL is the leading record label on the Faroe Islands. We are the musicians' label as TUTL is an association collectively owned by musicians and composers. TUTL was founded in 1977 by jazz musician and composer Kristian Blak. The name TUTL is a Faroese word meaning whisper.

TUTL releases over 300 releases yearly, many of which have received national as well as international acclaim. Some of the most popular TUTL artists - both current and former - are Eivør, Týr, Guðrið Hansdóttir, Hamferð, Marius Ziska, Valravn, Jens Marni, Joe & The Shitboys, and more. We release a wide range of musical genres: pop, rock, ethnic, folk, jazz, classical, choral, children´s music, country, metal, gospel and more.
