True Son: A Documentary Film

TRUE SON is a feature length documentary film that follows 21-year old Michael Tubbs as he campaigns for city council in Stockton, CA in a year of impending bankruptcy and record homicides. 

Reinvent U is the YouTube channel associated with the film. We currently have two series: Reinvent EDU (with tips for applying to college) and Reinvent Politics (snapshots of Michael on the campaign trail).
