True Intent

An exploration of the resilience and power of the inspired human spirit, using dance as a medium and fueled by excerpts and quotations from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Coretta Scott King and Malcolm X. Shot in Buffalo, NY.

"Shall I show you something that, if you did, you would love each other? Spread peace between yourselves."

The piece opens with a powerfully symbolic speech By Dr. King, but the rest of the statements are recited by average people to demonstrate that while we take our inspiration from leaders, anyone can become a beacon of hope in trying times.
