Transparency International Ireland is celebrating International Right to Know Day with a public workshop on access to information in Ireland.
Freedom of Information (FOI) laws allow for the people's democratic 'right to know' what is being done by government in their name. FOI can also be seen as "keeping government honest and discouraging corruption."
