PROLOGUE: "Once upon a time in a faraway land full of magic, there lived a King and Queen. The King and Queen had two young daughters who were the very best of friends. One princess was born with the power to summon ice and snow from thin air, which, in a few short years, would grow in strength enough to invoke an eternal winter at the brush of her fingertips. The other princess, however, was completely ordinary, with the exception of her pure heart full of love for her sister. The princesses' unmatched devotion and bond was unlike any other, and though they were often shut away from the outside kingdom to protect the bewitched sister's secret, they were a happy family. One day the two girls decided to wake with the dawn and play together in the great hall. The second sister urged the first to summon snow for them to play on and build into snowmen, as they often did, and so she happily obliged. But on this fateful day the magical sister lost control of her power, and struck the ordinary one in the head. The girl fell from the top of the snowy hill she was perched on and that was the end of her...or was it? The icy princess never recovered from her grave error and great loss, and claimed that her sister still resided within the castle walls. Orphaned by a tragic shipwreck shortly after the loss of her sister, the powerful princess-turned-queen watched her gift spiral into a curse at the loss of all 3 of her loved ones. But each night she was visited by a familiar voice from the ether, begging her to play. Apparitions danced at the edge of her vision, and invisible hands ice cold to the touch took hold of her in moments of fear and despair. Truly, her sister never left her, for the bond of love they shared was too strong. The brave little spirit never wavered in her mission to help her sisters plight, even from beyond the grave. Even now Queen Elsa still suffers nightly visitations from her sister, Anna. For frozen hearts still love, even when they no longer beat."
