Michelle Seaton is a journalist and author whose fiction and essays have appeared in Harvard Review, Sycamore Review, the Collagist, and in Best American Nonrequired Reading. She is a nonfiction instructor at Grub Street, in Boston, and was a longtime contributor to the NPR sports show, “Only a Game,” for whom she wrote about everything from professional wrestling to NASCAR, to team precision skating. And, of course, she wrote a lot about football.

Writers of all levels attend ongoing creative writing workshops solely designed to help them discover and nurture their own voices. Ten-week workshops in fiction and poetry are offered online as well as in New York City, San Francisco, Tucson and Amsterdam. The Writers Studio KW, a non-profit branch, offers after-school writing classes for high school students.
