You awaken in a strange place you do not recognize. The world is a blank slate. You are the only living thing here. Where are you, and why?
Kairo is a puzzle game in the same vein as the Myst series, in which you play an unknown person who must restart strange and ancient machinery in order to figure out your purpose in this place. Is there a reason why? Could, perhaps, you have a greater purpose to fulfill? Come along with me, viewer, and traverse this world. Together, perhaps we might just both get a second chance.
"That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death may die." - Abdhul Alhazrad, Necronomicon
The stars are right once more. The Old Ones are awakening! And only we, a Librarian with no idea of their past, can stop it! Come along with me and discover what horrors lie just beyond our own reality. Hang on to your sanity!
Eldritch is a rogue-like survival horror game based on the weird and horrific worlds and creations of American horror author, H. P. Lovecraft. This game borrows a lot of elements of typical rogue-likes, including permanent death, randomly generated levels, and tough enemies that will make you fear for your life and mental stability. The stakes are high and the challenge and struggle is real, making it one of the best examples of a Lovecraftian horror themed game that captures the paranoid feeling of Lovecraft's work properly. Along the way, I'll be doing my best as a veteran Lovecraftian Horror fan to discuss and explain exactly what we're up against, because if you can't tell a Shoggoth from a Deep One, then what kind of Investigator are you? Join me as we fight ceaselessly against the Things that Should Not Be, won't you?
Spring is a time for rebirth. Spring brings the return of animals, of plants, of life to the dead of winter. Life is a constant in the universe. This is not a drill - We are not alone. Join me, as we watch life unfold on a young planet, in another arm of the universe, from cellular organism to civilized space-farer. Let's play God, and create a creature in the image we desire. Let's play with life. Let's play Spore.
This is a story about a Let's Player named Phantom. Phantom was browsing Steam one night, when she found an interesting game. Intrigued, she added it to her cart, purchased it, and installed it on her laptop. Interestingly enough, she discovered that she had become the protagonist in a story about a man named Stanley...
The Stanley Parable is an interactive story about endings and choices, and how those choices affect everything, from the major to the minor. It is perhaps one of the most thought-provoking games I've played all year, and is definitely worth your time to look at. Join me as we follow the adventures of a man named Stanley, uncover strange doings and creative backlashes, study the nature of what makes a story, ponder the absolutes of the universe, and discover why the end is never the end.
A mysterious isle shrouded in fog. Lonely, isolated worlds to explore. And Lag! Sometimes, books really CAN take you places! Join me as I explore them all! Bear with the awkwardness here, this was babby's first Let's Play and is MUCH rougher around the edges than my current stuff as a result.
