The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, in its 108th season and first under the direction of Matthew Mehaffey, holds the distinction of being Pittsburgh's oldest continuously performing arts organization. In addition to being renowned for its versatility, singing oratorio, opera, Broadway, folk and symphonic repertoire, the choir is known for its mastery of the great choral classics and is the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's chorus of choice.
