McLarty III. Roberto Murray Meza, chairman of Agrisal, was presented with the Dialogue's Award for Civic Engagement by US Representative Francis Rooney (R-FL). Luis von Ahn, co-founder and CEO of reCAPTCHA and Duolingo received Dialogue's Award for Innovation and Social Impact from executive producer of Latino USA (NPR), Maria Hinojosa. Lydia Cacho was presented with the Dialogue's Leadership Award for the Defense of Human Rights by Judy Woodruff, anchor and managing editor of PBS NewsHour. Luis Alberto Moreno, president of the Inter-American Development Bank received the Dialogue's Award for Social Equity with video remarks from former Vice President Joe Biden and presented by US Senator Mark Warner (D-VA). Former US trade representative and Dialogue co-chair Carla A. Hills delivered special remarks and Univision's Ilia Calderón served as master of ceremonies.
