These tales taken from the long-running Stirling GhostWalk - a comic and dramatic tour of the strange stories and couthy curiosities of the historic Royal Burgh of Stirling, entertaining locals and visitors to the Old Town area since 1989. Running Tuesday to Saturday each July and August (a new summer script and characters annually) and weekends for the rest of the year - and with special shows for Halloween and the Christmas holiday season) it remains the most unique way to learn about Scotland's newest city...with a coffin-full of chills and chuckles along the way. The stories featured in these recordings are told by the Burgh's notorious 18th-century Happy Hangman, Jock Rankin - actor and author David Kinnaird. Photographs are from David's History Press books 'Haunted Stirling' and 'Auld Stirling Punishments' - and images sumbitted to our website www.stirlingghostwalk.com by GhostWalk audiences.
