The DISTCO 2015 is part of a series of “Digital Storytelling Contests (DISTCO)” hosted by North American University (NAU) and sponsored by University of Houston, and University of Texas at San Antonio (Academy of Teacher Excellence). DISTCO, a pioneer in digital storytelling contests, promotes investigation of educational uses of digital storytelling in areas of Arts, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and more among K-16 students and teachers. It is a challenging competition where students create projects developing their skills in multimedia, technology, research, writing, and creativity.
