This year we go to Carnarvon Gorge, Longreach and Lady Elliott Island. We flew a total of 1,113 nautical miles. The longest flying day was from Longreach to Bundaberg. The flying time that day was 6 hours.
We went with a group of 14 airplanes, 26 people, on an Outback Adventure. We visited; Charleville, Birdsville, Ayers Rock (Uluru), Coober Pedy, William Creek and Lake Eyre, Broken Hill and Moree. It was two weeks, and covered 2,800 nautical miles in 30 hours of flying. This series shows our experiences along the way.
This series of videos was taken in the National museum of the USAF in Dayton Ohio at Wright Patterson AFB. They are (mostly) unedited and un-narrated. They are complete walk-throughs of the 8 galleries and the rocket room. We stopped at the museum on our way to EAA Airventure in Oshkosh in July 2017. The scale and extent of this museum is overwhelming. If you look closely at the thumbnail pic, you can just see me at the bottom of the pic in front of the sign. That gives a good indication of the overall scale of this museum.
