Brad "Hawk" Steyn

Cape Town based former undercover intelligence operative. Bestselling author. Security & risk consultant. Storyteller.

I'm Brad “Hawk” Steyn — author of Undercover with Mandela's Spies.

I've lived through some extraordinary chapters of South African history. Today I bring that experience to conversations about intelligence, security, politics, leadership, corruption and the stories behind the headlines.

HAWK'S 2C — my take on the issues South Africans are arguing about.

SPY STORIES — true stories from the world of intelligence and undercover operations.

MANDELA'S SPIES — the extraordinary story behind the bestselling book and upcoming film.

Plus interviews, filmmaking, Hollywood stories and conversations with people who've lived history rather than simply studied it.

I don't spy anymore.
I witness. I remember. And I tell the story.
