Terracon’s Brownfields team shares a passion for helping build thriving communities. Brownfields are typically abandoned or neglected properties that can have underlying environmental problems due to their previous use. They can have issues ranging from contaminated soil or groundwater to unsafe, dilapidated structures. We help communities obtain the Brownfield grant funds to evaluate properties, address site conditions, and make the sites safe for sustainable redevelopment. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) set up their Brownfields program to support redevelopment of sites that may contain environmental concerns. Terracon works with communities to help utilize the funding and make these properties viable. We love turning big problems into big opportunities by integrating the environment into your community and redevelopment goals.
