－臺灣最具代表性的爵士大樂隊－
薩克斯風演奏家李承育於2009年，號召當時國內一流爵士與古典樂手共組至今。樂團持續年度公演、委託創作、專輯出版、耕耘爵士教育等多元面向推廣及傳承臺灣爵士音樂發展。

－臺灣最國際的爵士大樂隊－
邀請葛萊美獎得主Dr. Gene Aitken擔任本團常任音樂總監及客座指揮，同時近年也陸續與小野麗莎、蘿拉費琪、Eric Marienthal等國際知名音樂家合作演出，為臺灣最具國際聲量的爵士大樂隊。

－臺灣最在地親民的爵士大樂隊－
多年來致力將臺灣歌謠、流行經典、客家原民等多元族群音樂以重新編曲方式通過爵士音樂演繹，帶給聽眾全新聽覺想像，同時也為樂壇注入新能量。

－不同年齡層需求 成立附屬團最多－
成立青年團（TYJO）、少年團（TJJO）、都會團（TMJO）、校園巡演團（TEJO）、臺北人聲爵士樂團（TJV）等五個附屬團隊，培育國內爵士音樂人才不遺餘力。


Taipei Jazz Orchestra is one of the most professional big band in Taiwan. In both 2019-2020, we are the Taipei Outstanding Performing Art Troupe. 2021-2023, we are the only one jazz style’s group in Taiwan Top.  Formed in 2009, led by saxophonist Cheng-Yu Lee. Taipei Jazz Orchestra rehearses weekly and has held several performances in the past years including concerts, promotional tour in campus, and shows in jazz club. For further goal, Taipei Jazz Orchestra attends to promote jazz through big band music in Taiwan.
