SKINNY BWOY RECORDS: Jamaican reggae artist Sadiki is pleased to announce that his fourth solo studio album titled, Covered In Love will be released worldwide on Friday, April 15th, 2016 via Skinny Bwoy Records.

The new album, which Sadiki produced between Kingston, Chicago and Toronto is a 10-song collection of reggae covers of popular songs and features Twiggi (formerly of Penthouse), Smooth" Jazz & Reggae singer Helen Rogers (Jazzmasters, Paul Hardcastle), Guitarist Robert “Dubwise” Browne and Toronto reggae singer Tony Anthony.

Musicians for the album include the likes of Dean Fraser, Robbie Lyn, Danny ‘Axeman’ Thompson, Kirk Bennett, Robert "Dubwise" Browne, James Peart, Mikey Fletcher, I-Paul and Sadiki laying down many of the tracks himself.

On Covered In Love Sadiki pulls from a diverse array of artists and songs such as Ed Sheeran (Photograph), Spinners (Sadie), Justin Beiber (Love Yourself), Billy Preston & Syreeta Wright (With You I’m Born Again), Chris Brown (Should’ve Kissed You), Elvis Presley (I Believe), Phil Phillips (Sea of Love), Extreme (More Than Words), Johnny Ace (Pledging My Love), The Heptones (Book of Rules).

“When I decided to do Covered In Love, I sat down for a day and just vibed cover songs from John Holt, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Alton Ellis, Marcia Griffiths & Bob Andy to name a few artists,” says Sadiki. “One thing that each song had in common was the fact that these great artists made the songs their own. So I approached Covered In Love the same way.” Sadiki is well aware of the propensity for reggae singers to become known more as ‘sing-over’ artists than artists with original material, but he is not worried. “In the last year and a half I’ve been blessed to have written and produced songs for some tuff artists like Chezidek, George Nooks, AJ Brown, Twiggi, and Pam Hall,” Sadiki stated.

Born Henry Buckley, Jr. in Kingston, Jamaica, the multi-talented singer, songwriter, producer and engineer emanates a positive and dynamic vision of Reggae, mixed with R&B and pop flavor. Sadiki has an extensive resume of chart-topping reggae hits in the United States, Europe and Japan, within both the Lovers Rock and Dancehall genres. His debut album, Morning’s Come was ranked #1 in sales at HMV stores throughout Japan within weeks of its release, and was ranked #5 in sales at Tower Records. His second album, Lifeline, reached #1 on the Weekly Star Chart, and #2 on the Foundation Radio Network Charts in New York and South Florida. His third album Jah Is The Only King was also ranked #1 on BBC Radio’s World Beat Reggae Chart. Sadiki is a three-time nominee for “Most Promising Entertainer” at the International Reggae and World Music Awards, and two of Sadiki’s singles, “African Queen” and “Before The Time,” have been ranked #1 on BBC Radio’s World Beat Reggae Chart.
