Bass owl

Bass owl is a Michigan based producer with deep roots in the Detroit underground scene.

Formerly known as Stone Owl, he spent over a decade crafting house and techno in Detroit, making a name for himself with his innovative live sets, a raw, original style, and an extensive, timeless catalog. His journey has also included time as a turntablist for the hip hop group “Artful Dodgers,” as well as legendary blues band “Howling Diablos."

Across his career, Jake Greba aka Bass Owl has played such iconic gigs as, a live techno set on the main stage at Movement Detroit, spent summers touring with the Warped Tour, and even opened a sold out show for Tom Petty at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Experiences that shaped his confidence in front of large crowds and in high energy environments.

Now he’s fully focused on unapologetically deep, atmospheric bass music, with a dirty hip hop influence. Seamlessly fusing genres together, moving people with passion and intention.
