Stella Botticelli (Jocelyn Everett) is a twenty-something comic book artist navigating her way through life with the help of her closest friends, a tight-knit group of like-minded nerds who call themselves "The Busted League." There's Doc Reimer (Ben Bryant), the grizzled veteran artist with ten-plus years in the comic industry, to varying degrees of success, and who is carrying a torch for Karin Hyde (Laura Jennings), an adorable, bubbly widow who loves to cook and dotes on her friends. Paul Blunt (Daniel Tuttel) is an aspiring writer, and a typical fanboy. Finally, Becky Slater (Alexis Nabors) is an experienced cosplayer and fan-film actress. Together they face off against a harsh world and life's little ups and downs.
