Lanark Grammar School staged God, King and Country Music to commemorate the First World War. The musical was written by History Teacher Fergie Robson who also led the Band. The Cast and Production Crew worked passionately under the direction of Drama Teacher Ruth Darroch, to depict the impact the Great War had on the lives of young soldiers and their families. Performed in school and at Lanark Memorial Hall audiences included senior secondary school pupils, the local community including Veteran's, their families and Poppy Scotland. All were informed and moved by what they saw.
