We took one of our favorite Ween songs, and had Braxton & Hicks rewrite it for one of our favorite beers. Freedom of '78 was created with our friends at Half Acre Brewing Co. in Chicago as a tribute to our collective favorite band, Ween. For a song this special, we had to bring on a special guest, May Erlewine!

Freedom of ’78 (8% ABV - 70 IBU) is a medium-bodied IPA brewed with guava. This IPA is bright and clear with a pleasing bronze hue. The beer’s aroma is a unique fusion of citrus fruit and subtle pine. The distinct characteristics of the guava nectar are impossible to miss with flavors of tangerine, nectarine, and even faint honey detectable. The finish is bitter and dry.
