Sheyi Martins-Allen

I'm Sheyi Martins-Allen: singer, writer, and the woman behind Rant and Release.
Rant and Release began on Instagram, where my weekly Friday Rants turned the small things that quietly drive us all a bit mad into something people started looking forward to every week. It grew, and it grew, until it became a sold-out live show. This channel brings that same energy to Shorts.
Every week I take the things that wind us up and turn them into something you can actually enjoy. Friday Rants three times over, Dear Sheyi for your most pressing dilemmas, throwback covers for the millennials who grew up on them, and the occasional Sunday Sermon when the moment truly calls for it. It is honest, it is a bit chaotic, and yes, there is singing, because that is rather the whole point.
If something here makes you laugh, feel seen, or shout "finally, someone has said it" at your phone, you are in the right place.
Subscribe and stick around. New Shorts every week.
