Shekhinah Mountainwater... Faery Bard, Radical Muse, Foremother of the Womanspirit movement, and author of Ariadne's Thread... crossed into the arms of the Great Mother on Saturday, August 11, 2007.

Shekhinah was a beloved sister and a teacher to many. She dedicated her life to sharing and expressing the love of the Goddess. Her wisdom and spirit will continue on in the hearts of those she touched, and beyond... for generations to come.

Although Shekhinah has passed, her legacy survives. My brother and I have endeavored to establish her intellectual estate, and I have committed to an ongoing project to collect, collate, and make available her works.
