Join me as I take you to an audio landscape of some iconic themes through the SF series.

Here are how I came up with some of these pieces in chronological order:

    Vega (Crimson)
To me, Vega has always been the poster boy for beauty and that essential Spanish "matador" feel. For this iconic theme, I used his place of origin to go with a more Flamenco / Spanish style of playing.

For Ms. White, the vibe I get from her is classy with a hint of eye candy, so I emulated her feel by going with a smooth classical piece that transcends her beauty.

I've always wanted to do a Spaghetti Western / Sergio Leone inspired piece, also one of my favorite composers is Ennio Morricone. For some reason, Ryu's melody sounds like something out of a cowboy movie, so I did that with the "gallop" style percussion and strumming.

    Jazzy NYC '99 / Alex
This theme is so monumental, Evo moment 37!
I kept this one simple and kept it close to the original with a swingy / bossa nova type feel. Groovin'

This melody fit SO well over a reggae inspired rhythm that I just had to do it. Ken is the essence of "cool" and there's nothing cooler than some jive reggae strokes.

This theme was inspired by Metal Gear Solid; the long overtones and chorus feels remind me of Psycho Mantis and the ending credits, a big part of my childhood. I also wanted to combine it with making it sound like a lullaby.

    Which one is your favorite?
