Hello, I’m Senator Bob Casey from Pennsylvania. September 17th is Constitution Day, the anniversary of the original signing of the United States Constitution in 1787. It is a day that invites us to reflect on the significance of the document that continues to guide the way we govern and the way we live over two centuries later. Our Constitution is not only a set guidelines for policymakers, but a reflection of the values and principles we hold dear as Americans. Today, I am calling on my fellow Pennsylvanians to take this opportunity to read and discuss the Constitution with a young person. I hope you join me in celebrating the birthday of our Constitution. Thank you.
