The Storm might have had a rough going in 2014, but there are already positives in store for the future, including the number 1 draft pick in 2015.
“Getting the first pick in the draft gives the organization a shot of optimism,” said Storm head coach and general manager Brian Agler. “It brings a lot of value to how you look at things moving forward. We have to get to work now to evaluate how we make this a better basketball team.”
And Temeka Johnson, who’s seen her fair share of different franchises throughout her years, thinks there’s nothing but blue skies ahead for the Storm.
“I think the future is bright because of how this season transpired,” she said. “A season like this brings a lot of learning, and this organization is really one that wants to grow and looks to grow.”
