Better Every Day is more than just some words. It's a philosophy to help guide you to be the best you that you can possible be.
You going to get better? Let’s go. We are going to spend the first 20 minutes of his performance training session sharpening the axe. We don’t want someone doing unnecessary work that doesn’t get them to a better place because we want to make sure we had done the business. We want them to be more efficient with their time and energy so that they can get a higher value out of every single second they spend. Sport forces you to be better every day. It forces you to wake up, understand what you did yesterday and know you need to do more the next day. It’s not better everyday. It’s two words, every day. Better every day means every single day. If you can take yourself and compare yourself to your best you and improve from there then you are definitely demonstrating your own level of excellence. There is always a tried and true method to what we do. How we can get the most out of our athletes? How can I push them in a way that they have not been pushed before? Work hard. Give more than you think you can give. Get up earlier. Challenge yourself and just the man or woman that you think you can be. I can really rely on the equipment I have here to get the most out of my players and I want them just to know that. I want them to not worry about anything else but that. Show up, work hard and I will take care of the rest. There is a confidence that comes as a trainer knowing that you are putting your athletes in the right position to be successful. It’s training on the best products in the world. We all have the same vision; making these athletes better. It’s the same commitment, it’s the same dedication. It’s to immerse our athletes lives and put them in a position to succeed. It’s about coming in and deciding that you’re gonna outwork everybody. It’s coming with a commitment that you’re going to get better every single day.
