Hey guys, what's up? This is The Returning Shadow here, bringing you the announcement of the second season of the "What if..."-series!

Here it is, your chance to be featured in my series! I am giving you these nine classic stages for you to have a go on. Yes, City Escape is there as well, since so many people were complaining it wasn’t there last season. So for that stage I want something AMAZING. I want you to bring out your best shot at a classic version of this song. It has to be completely original in sound, something that sounds catchy, but still needs to have its original lyrics.

Like the first season, I want all songs to be connected to the story, as well as to the environment they are running in. Just like Smooth4Lyfe’s stuff. That’s all I’m giving you, go ahead and bring the best singer and songwriter inside of you! Do you want it to be rap, or purely sang, or a duet? You decide!

If you want to participate, you shall have to send a mp3 or wav file to my email address, which is returningshadow@hotmail.com (no spam please), featuring an excellent quality of audio, so it would look like a song that could be featured on an album. At this moment, I’m still searching for a way to record classic footage myself, so no, I am not planning to use any footage found on the internet, unlike the first season. I want all participants to send their song to me before November this year, so OCTOBER 31ST, 11:59 PM is your final deadline. Quite enough time, I suppose. And please, do not release this song online before I posted the episode it is featured in. I want to keep it as a great surprise for everyone. I will contact all winners privately via the mail address they used to send me their file on when I will publish his or her song, so they can go ahead and post it online after I released it, so I can link it through.

Finally, as you have already seen, this will become a project in honour of Sonic’s 25th anniversary, which means that the first episode, if there are enough people willing to participate, will air somewhere in January 2016. This season will exist of a total of 10 “episodes”, which is one extra episode comparing it to last season, which only had 9. As last season, I will air one episode a month. So if there is a new Sonic game coming next year, the last episode would probably have aired before that game’s release. Kind of a help for keeping the Sonic fanbase hyped.
