Follow the inspiring journeys of unwanted clothing items as they are redistributed with care and consciousness for community empowerment through being resold, donated or woven into rugs to warm the winter season for those in need. With approximately 11,250 garments are unnecessarily being dumped into landfills in Hong Kong every hour, paired with the fact that textiles are almost 100% recyclable, there is no excuse for disposal. Give your unwanted clothes a second life!
The Keep Caring Clothing Drive is an annual event organised by Redress in partnership with Miele. In 2015 the drive collected 3.5 tonnes of unwanted secondhand clothing and accessory donations from 20 participating companies, which were distributed to eight local environmental and welfare charities in Hong Kong.
