For the past five years, I have been filming and posting metal detecting videos on YouTube. What started off as a casual hobby eventually grew and became a major part of my life. Back yard metal detecting hunts grew into planned excursions in different states and (soon) countries. The quality of the metal detectors I use improved and along with it the quality of my videos. Growing up in such an old town, rich in history throughout it's deep woods and farm fields, has helped me to become better at this hobby and has given me a lot to learn about over the past few years. Metal detecting has been a part of my life ever since I was five years old, but right here right now, it has never been more important to me. I wrote my college essay based on how metal detecting has influenced my life, and with that got into my number one school. Metal detecting is a part of my life that I will never leave behind. I am proud to say I spend my time metal detecting and I am looking forward to more adventures in the future. I would especially like to thank the subscribers and viewers who have watched my videos, given them good ratings, and have written encouraging comments on my videos. All of you have inspired me to continue making these videos and to make them even more enjoyable for you to watch. I am truly grateful that people enjoy watching my videos and I'm extremely thankful for everyone who has watched over the years. Thank you again, and I'm looking forward to making more videos as soon as the ground thaws. Good luck and happy hunting!
