Queer Nation Houston was a grassroots, militant direct-action group committed to confronting homophobia in all its forms. The group was active in the early 1990s.

This channel contains archival footage documenting Queer Nation Houston and related direct-action groups from that era.

I was an active member of Queer Nation Houston as well as ACT UP Gulf Coast in the early 1990s. I documented and archived our actions as they unfolded.

The materials preserved here include news footage, newspaper articles, photographs, flyers, journal entries, documentation, protest signs, and related ephemera.
