Had time to try out launching the Waypoint from the ground on my XSP with Firmware v1.2.8 and beta Starlink 2.0.1.15 for Android. It works well, very little battery drain while you set it up, then you put your bird in the air and execute the mission. I see they put little graphic distance tags at the waypoints. Everything else about it works exactly as it did before tmk. Now you can create and adjust an entire waypoint run, lift the bird in the air auto or manual, then Start the mission. Excellent Update!
I will investigate, but I have more battery duration now, I've never had more than 20 minutes show for a fully charged batt (have 6 of them) until this beta Starlink. Just noticed, so like I said, I have to investigate past Yang vids, but this is a huge realization and change for me.
It's not all good news, she is restless for the first half of a session, loss of stable positioning compared to previous, even when it is this windy, there are 2 flags to gauge. She'll move around and up/down as much as 2 feet now when previous used to be within 6 inches. I'll investigate that as well and may need to bring it to Autel's CS. I've also been getting a few video signal audio warnings, the one in this vid actually coincided with some video scramble toward the end, but the bird was within 10 feet of me, so far these warnings are for close up.
So, kick ass new features, but some issues seem to be introduced. Overall, I'm pleased with their progress, keep it up you guys and gals.
Scroll down the Starlink page at Google Play and sign up for beta, then your Starlink will update to v2.0.1.15.
