Do you know why online education is not effective? I was doing some research on this topic and found studies that show that despite a huge variety of online classes and training programs they are not effective: people are jumping from one to another with a very little improvements on what they are trying to learn.
Why this happens? Now, when we can get classes from world best instructors almost in any discipline, very affordable (many are completely free), and it is not helping us to solve our problems and acquire new skills?
Here is what happens, according to studies: without a direct interaction with a teacher, it is very easy to stuck in one of the steps from a course or tutorial, and then to drop it, without achieving a desired outcome.
So, this is what we lost in online education: interaction, a direct interaction with a teacher and ability to get our questions answered, issues pointed by the instructor and mistakes fixed.
