We are regularly and continuously admonished by shuyookh, teachers, friends, parents, and well-wishers to lower our gaze as young men & women full of zeal and energy for life. However, is it practical advice? Can it really be done? If so, how? Does it have a specific time & place? WIll it affect my life in this world? Will it have an impact on my relationship with my future spouse? All these questions and more should be amongst those which we want answered or maybe even challenge. This HOT topic disects the question of "Can we really be JUST friends?" at the April 2012 PGMA Youth Halaqaat.
Taraweeh khaatirahs this year will be very unique Insha Allah =)
They will be under the title of 'Impressive Moments From the Life of the Prophet (SAW)'.
Every night's khaatirah will be centered around a famous incident that happened during the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) between him and his companions, his wives, pagans and/or angles; before and after the start of prophethood.
In addition to an attractive, audience-capturing narration of the incident in both Arabic & English - as needed - the speakers will shed light on the spiritual, educational and/or Fiqhi lessons that Muslims should get from the incidents and how to ponder at, comprehend and implement them in their daily lives.
Alhamdullilah, we have a very strong panel of speakers who have been assigned a fixed day every week for each one of them as follows:
The khaatirah will be between 7-10 minutes after the first four rak'aat of taraweeh prayer Insha Allah. We will try our best to record all sessions and put them up on our YouTube channel. The playlist is up already =)
