Since I was a 12 years old, I dreamed of becoming a helicopter pilot. I served in the Army for more than 20-years, trying to get into Warrant Officer Flight Training, to fly helicopters. But without perfect vision that didn't happen. I saved money from my 1-year deployment to Iraq & Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, to attain my Private Helicopter Certificate & later my Commercial Helicopter Certificate. After the Army, I worked as a CDL Class A driver, driving 18-wheelers for 70-hours a week, to pay to rent an Enstrom helicopter, to build up my hours from 111 hours, up to 430 hours, I got my first job as a commercial helicopter pilot, flying a tuna spotting helicopter. There I acquired 1,488 turbine helicopter hours, by flying the awesome Hughes 500C (Model 369HS) from tuna boats for 2 1/2 years & I accrued 1,000 ship landings. So, a majority of my videos show the beauty & wonder of the ocean & my adventures in the Pacific Ocean. In the Army, I also got into flying large RC helicopters. -OneHoof-
