This song means a lot to me personally.
I was thinking about the Bible verse in Psalm 50:23, which says;
"He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; And to him who orders his way aright I shall show the salvation of God." (New American Standard Bible)
My heart will sing this song, no matter what the circumstances I'm in. It's easy to say 'Hallelujah' when everything is alright, but your faith gets challenged to the very core in times of darkness. There is Power in singing it especially in hard times.
Psalm 37:4,5 says: "Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it." (New American Standard Bible)
Sing to God, in church, together, alone in your room, it doesn't matter where you are. Fix your eyes on Him. It's okay to cry, give it all to God, He is always with you. Place your life in His hands and surrender, He can do amazing things, things beyond your expectations. You know, we can get so preoccupied with worldly worries such as money, work and appearance. But God can do so much more in your life if you let Him! Fix your eyes on Him, on the things that truly matter in this life. Relationships. To love and be loved. To feel safe and at peace. Feel His love and compassion for all the lost and bitter people. It's alright if you feel like you can't give anymore, you don't have to do anything. But ask God, He is your Healer!
Thank you Lord, my Father, Healer and Saviour, for seeing passed the outward appearance; You look at the heart. (1 Sam. 16:7) Blessed be Your Name.

- Personal note 2011/2012: I was in a very dark place, and while writing the description the words that came could have been said to myself as well, to keep going, to keep believing. I made the video for God, and poured my heart into it. However, I feel I would sound like a hypocrite if I didn't tell you I am lost now more than ever. I am sincere as I was sincere in making the video and writing what was on my heart to say at the time. I meant it. But to be honest, the video touches me in bitterness and pain, and although there will always be a part of my heart that reaches out to God, I have never truly found Him. If you have taken the time to read this description, I felt you deserved to know this as well. Thank you for reading it, for watching the video, and for leaving comments, I appreciate it. I hope you will draw support and strength from it still. As for me, well, it's a work in progress. But there's hope. I believe there is hope. One step at a time. I have had the honor of meeting beautiful loving people who are helping me find my way. I trust, I search, and I know I am not alone. With love and a warm embrace, One Desire.
