Prof. Kevin Hetherington, OU's Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research and Academic Strategy) Designate talks about four priority research areas The Open University launched on 23 July 2015. They will address some of this century’s greatest challenges such as global inequalities, poverty and migration.
The OU’s priority research areas are:
Citizenship and Governance International Development Space Science Technology Enhanced Learning (Education)
The four areas form a key focus of Research shaping the future, the OU’s new research plan, and will continue to inform OU curriculum and underpin an outstanding learning experience for students.
