OSHO: Impressions: Meditative Swimming
OSHO International -- www.osho.com/livingin
Meditative Swimming is a combination of certain swimming technique, based on "Total Immersion" method of swimming, combined with meditative techniques. We help people to physically balance in the water, to become longer and leaner in the water, and to move in a more flowing gliding way into the water with less effort.
As far as the meditative aspect of releasing tension, stress, fears... we work on relaxation methods, and breathing methods and different ways of letting go...
And the good thing is that it can start in the first few minutes and it can continue for a lifetime.
"When you are lost in swimming so completely that there is nobody, the boat is empty, there is nobody in the house, the host is silent, swimming is so deep that the swimmer is lost in it and you simply swim, you play with the river, and the rays of the sun and the morning breeze, and you are simply lost in it... and there is happiness!" -- Osho
