Biobank Manager at the INFANT Centre in University College Cork, Emma Snapes shares her experience of helping develop the world’s first ever international standards in Biotechnology.
INFANT is Ireland’s first dedicated perinatal research centre and is involved in a wide range of studies into conditions such as pre-eclampsia, pre-term birth and foetal growth restriction.
These new international standards, which are due to be published in 2018, will contribute to society, the economy, the regulatory environment and the further enhance the biotechnology industry.
