I have always had a passion for amplification, and this culminates in guitar amplifiers because you can design for a specific sound, whereas with hi-fi, you just reproduce the audio.

The MAK is a 1x12" 50W combo loaded with a Celestion G12H75 Creamback. It is constructed of solid Bubinga or Saligna. The amp has simple controls - tone, gain and volume. The reason for this is that other effects can be looped via the effects loop, which can also be used as a line out or to chain in another MAK.

Design highlights are extreme reliability due to vastly overrated components, low noise floor due to physical amplifier layout, endless power due to a toroidal transformer rated at 3 times the amplifier power and almost 20 mF of power supply capacitance, and a newly designed overdrive circuit allowing a transistor amplifier to overdrive like a 60s vintage valve amplifier.

The MAK provides a lovely creamy tone, but unleash the beast and it's a power monster!
