This is 3 year-old Kayden Gordon from Thurso. He was diagnosed with Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy when he was 15 months old.
This means that the muscles in his legs are so tight he’s unable to straighten them, making it difficult for him to do simple things like sitting on the floor with his legs out front of him, standing, or walking on his own.
The local community have been raising thousands of pounds over the last few months to help Kayden reach his £80,000 target, to pay for an operation which could help him achieve his dream to walk.
They broke through the £70,000 mark a couple of weeks ago – and we sent Ginno to meet Kayden’s supporters to deliver even more good news…
