The Cursed Driver

The Cursed Driver is a motorsport romance novel by Jocelyn Ember, set during the 2025 IMSA sports car racing season.
Jonas Reid is a professional race car driver known for near-misses, mechanical failures, and a reputation for being cursed. Niki Morrison is a motorsport photographer who arrives at Daytona carrying her late father’s camera — and sees something in Jonas that everyone else has stopped believing in.
As the IMSA season unfolds across America’s iconic circuits, professional curiosity becomes something neither planned for. But loving a driver and documenting him are not the same thing, and one photograph could cost them their trust.
