The new MCC WebDAQ Series offer a complete and easy-to-use remote data acquisition solution. An embedded web server allows you to configure simple to complex data logging applications, set alarm conditions, record the data locally or download it remotely, and view your data in real-time from anywhere on an internet-enabled device. The first two devices in this series are the WebDAQ 316, a high-resolution temperature data logger, and the WebDAQ 504, a vibration and acoustic data logger for direct measurement of IEPE sensors.
This tutorial walks through the configuration and data logging process using a WebDAQ 316 module connected to a thermocouple. We go through how to connect to your device, set up your data acquisition task, or “job” as we call it, define alarming conditions, and view your data.
