February 1st 2020: It's been a good day today... cos I can once again actually use YouTube without the videos audio being ruined by YouTubes feckin useless enforced "Loudness Equalisation/ Normalisation" that the muppets at YouTube thought would be a great idea to force on every YouTube video and ruin it's audio quality...
Finally after a year of trying to find a way to switch the damned thing off I found some code that can do it written by somone else and managed to put it into a Chrome Extension and so it's goodbye (once again) to YouTube damned fecking pointless "Loudness Equalisation"... :-D
What better way to test it than with something loud like the good old kings of Glam Rock Slade and "Cum On Feel The Noize" and now I really can feel the noize just as I intended the upload to be.... :-)
Wasn't too fussed about the video quality in this case but it's better than the original was/ is but more importantly the re-dubbed audio is now belting out here on my speakers... :-)
Not that anyone else will be able to notice that for the time being as of course you'll still be hearing it a lot quieter due to YouTubes enforced Loudness Equalisation. Hopefully the guy who wrote the code will let me use it to make the browser extension available to everyone who like me has been pissed off with YouTube and their enforced Loudness Equalisation and I'll soon be able to release it for everyone to use (fingers crossed)... :-)
Thank feck for that, I've missed not being able to use YouTube for the past year cos all the videos were playing too quietly and now hopefully this extension will last longer than my other one did and I can get back to uploading some great old music once again and listen to it in the way it should be... :-)
PS: Sorry to those that viewed the video quickly just after I uploaded it but I uploaded the wrong version and had to delete it and upload this version and in the few minutes before I discovered my mistake then it already had quite a number of views, sorry about that but this is now the proper version... (bit rusty at this as it's been a wee while now)... :-)
