A team of eight College of Communication Arts and Sciences students traveled to China to participate in this year's highly competitive OneClub China Youth Creative Festival where about 5,000 students from advertising programs throughout China sent their best work to be juried by OneClub officers in Beijing, and of those, only 300 were selected to compete in the festival competition.
Four of the students that traveled to China competed in the contest. They include advertising seniors Henrik Blix and Andriana Tonis, advertising junior Victor Marmorstein, and studio art senior Taylor Parker. Two other students servedas translators - Maggie Zhang and Jacob Yu, who are both advertising majors as well as officers of MSU's Chinese Undergraduate Student Association. The group was also joined by Izak Gracy, media and information junior, and Andrea Raby, journalism senior, who documented the trip. Henry Brimmer, Assistant Professor in the Department of Advertising + Public Relations, lead the group.
